Getting started
The single most valuable thing you can do is teach Konnie about your business. Everything else is secondary.
Signing in
Go to app.konnectivo.com and sign in with your email and password. Forgot it? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page and you'll get an email with a reset link.
1. Add what you sell — Catalog
Go to Catalog and add your services or products, each with a name, a price, and a short description. Already have a list in a spreadsheet? Use Import to bring in a CSV or Excel file (up to 5 MB) — you'll see a preview before anything saves. Everything in the Catalog is automatically taught to Konnie.
2. Add everything else — Knowledge base
Go to Knowledge base and add the things that aren't a product or service: opening hours, cancellation policy, FAQs, how to book, parking or location details — anything a customer might ask. Three ways to add a source: paste text directly, give it a web page link, or upload a PDF or Word document.
Konnie only ever answers from what you've given it. If it gets something wrong or says it doesn't know, the fix is almost always to add or correct the information here.
3. Set Konnie's personality — Konnie settings
Go to Konnie settings and work through the tabs: pick a tone, set the reply length, choose when Konnie should hand a conversation to a person, and decide who gets alerted about a hot lead. Every tab has a live preview next to it so you can see the effect as you change things.
4. Put the chat on your website — Channels
Go to Channels → Website chat and copy the one line of install code. Paste it into your website just before the closing </body> tag. If someone else manages your site, that one line is all they need. The chat bubble appears on your site as soon as it's pasted in — no waiting, no approval needed.
5. Choose where alerts go
Still in Konnie settings, open the Hot Leads Alert tab and pick how you want to hear about a serious enquiry — in-app, push notification, email, or Slack. This is what tells you the moment someone's ready to book.
Test it before you rely on it
Open your website, click the chat bubble, and have a conversation as if you were a customer. Ask about a price. Give a fake name and phone number. Then check your dashboard:
- Inbox — your test conversation should be there
- Leads — your fake enquiry should appear, scored Hot, Warm, or Cold
If anything looked wrong, go back to the Knowledge base or Catalog, fix it, and try again.
