Konnie settings
Six tabs control how Konnie sounds, what it asks, and when it hands off to a person. Every tab has a live preview next to it.
Konnie Behaviour
How Konnie sounds and carries a conversation: the opening greeting, tone (pick up to four — friendly, warm, professional, playful, formal, empathetic, direct, enthusiastic), reply length (concise, balanced, or detailed), language (auto-detects by default, or pin it to one), empathy level, and whether it uses natural conversational fillers. There's also a vocabulary switch between everyday language and medical terminology, for clinics that need it.
Trust & Safety
The compliance side: whether Konnie discloses it's an AI when asked, how much conversation data is stored, whether visitors are asked for consent before their contact details are saved, and topic guardrails — what Konnie should never say or engage with.
Information to Collect
Which details Konnie asks visitors for — name, phone, email, interest, preferred time. Collect contact info before chat shows a name-plus-phone-or-email form on the website chat before the visitor can type anything. If you turn this on or off, copy the install snippet again from Channels so your site picks up the change.
Pre-Chat Buttons
Quick buttons that appear under Konnie's first greeting — things like "Book an appointment," "See prices," "Ask a question," "Talk to a human." Drag to reorder, rename, or remove, up to five. They're off until you switch on Show buttons in the website chat, and once you do, changes appear on your site immediately — no need to re-copy the snippet. They disappear as soon as the visitor sends a message.
Handover
When Konnie should stop and bring in a person: a visitor asks for a human, Konnie can't help after two tries, frustration, or a complaint or refund request. You choose who gets it — the front desk team, the owner, or everyone — and how long Konnie waits before taking the chat back if nobody replies. A chat you've taken over yourself is never handed back automatically.
Hot Leads Alert
Get alerted the moment a lead is ready to buy. Choose the minimum score (hot or warm) that triggers an alert, set quiet hours if you don't want to be pinged overnight, and write a custom message using {name} and {service} placeholders — this same message is used everywhere the alert goes: Slack, in-app, push, and email. Leave it blank to use Konnectivo's standard wording instead.
See Account settings for turning each alert channel on.
