Docs/Adding Konnie to your website

Adding Konnie to your website
One line of code. No developer needed, on any platform.
Get your install code
In your Konnectivo dashboard, go to Channels → Website chat. Customise the header text, colour, and Konnie's avatar if you like, then copy the install snippet — it's a single line of code. Keep that line handy; you'll paste the exact same line into your site regardless of what platform you're on.
WordPress
Don't edit your theme's files directly — a typo there can break your whole site, and the edit disappears the next time your theme updates. The safe way:
- Install a free "header and footer scripts" plugin from the WordPress Plugin directory — search for Insert Headers and Footers (there are a few options; any well-reviewed one works the same way).
- Open the plugin's settings, usually under Settings → Insert Headers and Footers.
- Paste your Konnectivo snippet into the Footer box.
- Save. The chat bubble appears on every page immediately — no re-publishing needed.
Using a page builder like Elementor? It has its own Custom Code feature under the main dashboard (not inside the page editor) — add the snippet there instead, set to load on every page, and skip the plugin.
Wix
- In the Wix Editor, go to Settings → Advanced → Custom Code.
- Click Add Custom Code and paste your Konnectivo snippet in.
- Set it to load on All Pages, with the placement option Body – end.
- Save, then publish your site.
Squarespace
- Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
- Paste your Konnectivo snippet into the Footer box.
- Save. Squarespace applies footer code site-wide automatically.
Shopify
- Go to Online Store → Themes, then Edit code on your active theme.
- Open theme.liquid under Layout.
- Paste your Konnectivo snippet just before the closing
</body>tag. - Save.
Any other website
If your site isn't built on one of the platforms above — a custom-coded site, or a builder not listed — the rule is the same everywhere: paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag of your site's HTML. If someone else manages your website for you, that one line is genuinely all they need; send it to them as-is.
Confirm it worked
Open your website in a new tab. You should see Konnie's chat bubble in the bottom corner within a few seconds. Click it and send a test message — if Konnie replies, you're live. If nothing appears, double-check the snippet was pasted exactly once, with nothing cut off at either end.
